The Telekom mobile signal booster has three components i.e., an external antenna, an internal antenna, and an amplifier. The external antenna is placed outside the building where it can catch the existing weak signal. It catches and sends the weak signals to the amplifier (the base unit).

Then the amplifier boosts that signal to make it 5 bar strong. After boosting it sends the boosted signals to the internal antenna. The internal antenna then broadcasts that boosted signal inside the building. This way the residents inside the building get stronger signals.
